El Paso del Cristo Redentor

I caught the bus from Santiago to Mendoza, across El Paso del Cristo Redentor (well, under it, through El Tunel del Cristo Redentor :-)

Unfortunately the quality is mixed, since these photos were all taken through the bus window and while the bus was moving - this was a scheduled commuter service, and not a tour.

Perhaps one day I'll do this again in a car, and actually stop and take some photos. The scenery is incredible, with the tunnel at 3200 metres above sea level and there were many places I would have liked to have stopped and taken more time.
